Whether sheltering in place or building a fully remote practice, ethical guidelines shape the practice of law as fully when telecommuting as they do in traditional contexts. A legal practice can be made easier by cloud computing, virtual conferencing, and new communication technologies, but new challenges are also raised in maintaining compliance with the Oregon Rules of Professional Conduct.
