This year’s conference in Bend features general sessions and breakout sessions diving deeper into topics specific to land use or real estate. For the general sessions, you’ll delve into real estate and land use case law and legislative updates, learn how the Supreme Court is rewriting federal administrative law, learn how to address lands that are unlawfully established and those that are land-locked, and explore new rules about licensing paralegals, abuse reporting requirements, and professionalism issues. Real estate breakout topics include litigation of a commercial sales agreement, issues with new and existing commercial loans, and residential sale agreements. Land use breakout topics include rural lands and housing issues, writs of review and mandamus, EFU home occupations, and case studies of recent development projects under new housing laws.
