Reset. Recharge. Reignite. Cultivating capacity to serve our communities and the legal profession: A conversation with OSB President David Rosen, Director of Kripalu School of Yoga Rolf Gates, and OSB Director of Diversity & Inclusion JB Kim.
The theme of Reset. Recharge. Reignite. is rooted in a central question: What stories, biases, and patterns shape how we show up every day? Each of us has biases and ingrained patterns that influence our decisions, reactions, and professional relationships—often without us even realizing. By recognizing these patterns, we can navigate our roles with greater intentionality, resetting and recharging as we realign with our core values. Learn how to build a more intentional legacy in the law and create lasting change in our communities and the bar.
This will be an interactive, practical experience. Together with the presenters you’ll explore:
• Bias and Stories: Understanding how biases and narratives shape our daily lives and influence the profession
• Pattern Recognition: Identifying our default reactions and breaking the cycles that no longer serve us
• Legacy Building: Using the baton as a metaphor, discuss the importance of leaving a positive impact and passing forward a strong, principled practice for future generations
This is more than a learning opportunity—it’s a chance to recharge, refocus, and leave with actionable tools for growth.
