This year’s institute features a new starting time and begins with a buffet lunch on Friday and an eye-opening discussion of racial disparity in bankruptcy. Four breakout sessions include new guidance on discharging federal student loans in bankruptcy and the state of the real estate insolvency market. The hosted reception on Friday follows the Judges Panel and is an ideal way to connect with bankruptcy judges and colleagues in a relaxed and collegial setting. Saturday’s sessions extend into the afternoon and include a special lunch, followed by a Ninth Circuit case law update and a look at data protection in a bankruptcy practice.
